My favorite Binding tool

 I just use this little ruler, aligning the 1/4 inch up on the edge of the quilt top, and mark a dot ....works pretty fast for me.


I like to sew a diagonal seam to match the seams joining the binding strips.

    I have that ruler and never think to use it .... how handy it is for doing bindings .... thanks for the tip!
